Prior to Araya, Mark held several Senior Executive roles at National Medical Health Card, an independent Pharmacy Benefit Manager based in Port Washington, NY. As Senior Vice President of Claims Systems, he was responsible for all aspects of the claims system from member eligibility and claims processing to system development, customer specific customizations, capacity planning and systems HIPAA compliance. While in this position, Mark was also the HIPAA privacy officer. Subsequently, Mark held the position of Senior VP of Clinical and Account Services. In this capacity, he was responsible for the implementation and ongoing operational quality and effectiveness of all aspects of client services. Prior to joining NMHC Mark held several management positions with Centrus Pharmacy Solutions, an Albany, NY based PBM and ten years of management responsibilities within the provider segment.
