Assisting clients in choosing the right PBM can be difficult. Once the choice is made it can be even more work ensuring the PBM lives up to the proposal. Finding a PBM that offers a competitive offer and then delivers is a challenge. Araya’s pass-through transparent business model along with our client-centric philosophy make us a great fit for brokers and consultants who are weary of the games played by traditional PBMs.

First, our business model makes it easy to calculate what your client will pay and how much Araya will make. We are not tied to the delivery system so we are not directing patients to specific pharmacies. We pass along 100% of rebates so we are not incented to select drug products that may have higher net cost to the client.

Secondly, because we are not hiding costs we have no reason to protect claim data; we are happy to share it as frequently as needed in the client’s designated format. Because we have no ties to the pharmacy or medication we are willing to work with other vendors you might want to bring to the client to support disease management, wellness or other initiatives. Araya gives you the freedom to manage your client’s benefit using all the tools at your disposal, not just the programs offered by the PBM.
