Mark has over 15 years experience in the PBM industry holding various management positions at National Medical Health Card Centrus Pharmacy Solutions and ValueRx.
In his most recent position as the Director of Benefit Administration his department was responsible for the programming and quality assurance of client benefits in the adjudication system. He acted as a benefit consultant to the Account Services team helping clients create effective benefit’s design. While at Centrus and NMHC Mark was the Director of Business Analytics. In this capacity he was responsible for designing robust decision support systems for internal and external customers.
Projects he managed included:
- Physician incentive program encompassing software and reports to measure a physician against a peer group
- Software to measure plan performance, perform pharmacoeconomic analyses and support patient and provider interventions
- RxPlorer, an Online Analytical Processing (OLAP) tool allowed users to access standard reports and create custom queries from the data warehouse
- A rebate administration tool that was used to manage market baskets, analyze data and submit quarterly data to manufacturers.
