JOB DESCRIPTION

The Account Coordinator is the primary contact for our providers and members. This position will be responsible for resolving low level issues and escalating higher level issues to the appropriate person. The Account Coordinator will track and monitor the progress of open issues and provide resolution. They will also assist Account Manager with client issues and tasks as assigned.

JOB DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS

  • Primary contact for provider and member issues via phone, email and MOJO tickets; triage and involve appropriate executive sponsor when needed
  • Monitor Adjudication Alert Queue
  • Mailing of Member ID Cards
  • Member and provider communications
  • Monitor status of open provider and member issues
  • Providing assistance to other team members
  • Assist with benefit change requests, as needed
  • Assist Account Manager with client related tasks, as needed

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

  • Basic word processing, spreadsheet and computer skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong analytical ability
  • Project management skills
  • Previous healthcare experience; PBM experience preferred

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Associate/Bachelor Degree in related field preferred
